52AB Fluid Applied Air Barrier is formulated using advanced silyl-terminated polyether (STPE) technology to provide a durable, seamless air and moisture barrier. This single-component, moisture-cure elastomeric membrane helps protect structures from uncontrolled air movement and water intrusion while delivering excellent UV resistance and long-term weatherability. ASI 52AB can be applied to damp or wet substrates without bubbling and remains in place when rain is anticipated, unlike many conventional water-based coatings. Its 100% solids formulation eliminates shrinkage and cracking while helping seal fastener penetrations, joints, and minor substrate imperfections. ASI 52AB adheres to a wide variety of construction materials and is compatible with many common adhesives and sealants.
