52AB Fluid Applied Air Barrier is formulated using a high performance silyl-terminated polyether polymer technology or STPE. ASI 52AB is a single component, moisture cure elastomeric waterproofing membrane that creates a seamless coating that prevents water and air penetration of the building envelope. ASI 52AB shows excellent resistance to UV degradation and extreme weather. ASI 52AB can also be applied to damp or wet substrates without “outgassing” or “bubbling” . The ASI 52AB can also be applied when rain is expected without washing off unlike many conventional water based coatings. Because the ASI 52AB is 100% solids it will not shrink or crack. ASI 52AB will also fill holes left by fasteners and imperfections. ASI 52AB is compatible with most substrates and other adhesives/sealants.
