The reactive colloidal silica densifier formula triggers a chemical reaction within the cement matrix. This reaction forms insoluble calcium-silica-hydrate (C-S-H), also called calcium silicate hydrate (CSH). The same binder that gives concrete its strength.
The result is a denser and harder concrete floor. The surface gains better resistance to abrasion, stains, moisture penetration, and water vapor movement.
