EPX50‑SC (Standard Cure) is a moisture‑insensitive, low‑modulus epoxy urethane co‑polymer engineered to deliver dependable performance in demanding concrete preservation environments. Applied as a 1/4" to 3/8" single‑ or dual‑layer system, it forms a durable, chemical‑resistant, and waterproof protective surface ideally suited for bridge decks, elevated slabs, and other critical structural applications. A key advantage of EPX50‑SC is its extended working time in warmer temperatures, providing smoother placement, improved application control, and greater installation reliability under challenging field conditions.

The system creates a rugged, anti‑skid surface that enhances safety and performs exceptionally well in high‑friction surface treatment applications. Additionally, EPX50‑SC serves as a versatile binder for epoxy mortars used in patching and repair work. The formulation meets ASTM C881 / AASHTO M235 Type III standards, ensuring consistent quality and compliance with industry requirements. EPX50-SC is under evaluation by AASHTO PEAS (formerly NTPEP) for High Friction/Thin Overlay (HFTO) applications. No Hazmat endorsement is required for US domestic transportation.
