Commercial Grade Anchoring Epoxy for Concrete and Applications
ULTRABOND® 1 is a proven concrete anchor epoxy trusted for over 20 years in concrete construction and infrastructure projects. Developed by Adhesives Technology, ULTRABOND 1 delivers reliable adhesive anchoring performance for threaded rods, anchoring bolts, railings, and rebar dowels into concrete. This commercial grade component structural epoxy provides consistent results where high strength and durability are required.
This high strength anchoring epoxy has a simple 1:1 mix ratio. Cartridge systems are easy to use. It also works well with bulk dispensing systems.
Its smooth, non-sag solvent free consistency supports clean placement in horizontal applications and vertical installations without material movement. The concrete gray finish blends well with surrounding concrete surfaces for a consistent appearance.
High Strength Anchoring Performance
ULTRABOND® 1 is designed for high strength anchoring in structural applications. It bonds securely to concrete, ensuring reliable load transfer and long term durability. This anchoring epoxy is ideal for:
Anchoring threaded rods, bolts and rebar dowels into uncracked concrete
Grouting dowel bars and tie bars for full depth concrete pavement repairs
Bonding agent for fresh to hardened concrete, and hardened to hardened concrete
General adhesive anchoring in structural systems
Its high strength formulation ensures dependable performance in demanding environments. Contractors rely on Adhesives Technology ULTRABOND for projects that require precision, strength, and long term reliability.
Moisture Insensitive and Jobsite Ready
ULTRABOND® 1 is moisture insensitive, allowing installation in dry, damp, and water filled holes. This flexibility makes it suitable for a wide range of site conditions, including projects where moisture cannot be fully controlled.
Its ability to perform in water filled environments helps reduce downtime and supports continuous work across varying jobsite conditions. This makes it a dependable choice for infrastructure and commercial construction applications.
Fast Strength Development and Durability
ULTRABOND® 1 develops strength quickly, reaching full cure in approximately 18 hours at 110 °F (43 °C). This fast cure time allows contractors to maintain productivity while ensuring secure anchoring performance.
The epoxy also withstands freeze-thaw conditions and supports long-term durability in outdoor and exposed environments. Its performance under short term loading conditions and varying temperatures makes it suitable for demanding structural applications.
Certified and Code Compliant
ULTRABOND® 1 is ASTM C881-20 / AASHTO M235 Type I, II, IV & V Grade A, B & C compliant.
Easy Application and Compatibility
ULTRABOND® 1 is compatible with OSHA Table 1 compliant drilling and cleaning methods using Milwaukee hollow vacuum drill bit systems. This supports safer installation practices on-site.
The system works well with common installation tools, including a nut driver. This makes it easy to secure threaded rods and anchors. Its solvent free low odor formulation improves working conditions, especially in enclosed environments.
