Commercial Grade Anchoring Epoxy for Concrete and Structural Applications
ULTRABOND® HS-1CC is a high strength anchoring epoxy designed for demanding concrete construction and infrastructure applications. This advanced epoxy adhesive performs reliably when installing threaded rods, anchor bolts and railings in concrete and masonry. As a commercial grade component structural epoxy, it supports projects where strength, safety, and code compliance are critical.
ULTRABOND® HS-1CC is the first anchoring and doweling epoxy designed to meet IBC/IRC requirements. It works with both cartridge and bulk dispensing systems. It works in dry, damp, water-filled, and fully submerged conditions, so it fits many environments. This strength anchoring epoxy provides consistent results even under extreme temperatures and loading conditions.
High Strength Anchoring Performance
ULTRABOND® HS-1CC delivers exceptional high strength anchoring across structural applications. It bonds strongly to concrete, steel, and masonry substrates, ensuring reliable load transfer and long term durability. This high strength epoxy is ideal for:
Anchoring threaded rods and rebar
Installing threaded rod and rebar into concrete
Securing railings and structural supports
This system also performs as a reliable anchoring epoxy in demanding structural environments. Its high shear strength and proven performance make it suitable for both vertical or horizontal applications. Contractors rely on this high strength anchoring epoxy when precision and durability are essential.
Certified and Code Compliant
ULTRABOND® HS-1CC meets a wide range of industry standards and certifications. The ICC-ES ESR-4094 evaluation report evaluates it for use in cracked and uncracked concrete. It complies with several building codes, including IBC, IRC, and the Florida Building Code.
This anchoring epoxy is also UL certified to NSF/ANSI 61 and 372 standards for drinking water system components. Many Department of Transportation lists approve it or show it as pending approval. This makes it suitable for infrastructure projects. The product has also been evaluated by the National Transportation Product Evaluation Program (NTPEP), further confirming its performance in critical applications.
Flexible Installation Conditions
This doweling epoxy performs across a wide installation temperature range of 43 °F to 110 °F (6 °C to 43 °C). ULTRABOND® HS-1CC is suitable for dry and water saturated concrete, including core drilled holes and submerged installations.
The epoxy is compatible with vacuum drill bit systems from leading brands such as Milwaukee, Bosch, DeWalt, and Hilti. This supports OSHA compliant drilling and cleaning processes, improving job site safety and efficiency.
Controlled Working Time and Cure Time
ULTRABOND® HS-1CC offers a working time of about 16 minutes at 75°F. This gives installers time to place anchors accurately before it begins to set.
The cure time is fast and efficient. The system fully cures in about 7 hours at 75 °F (24 °C). It can cure in as little as 2 hours at 110 °F (43 °C). This allows contractors to maintain productivity and meet tight project timelines.
Low Odor and Solvent Free Formula
This epoxy adhesive features a sag solvent free, low odor formula, improving working conditions on-site. The sag resistant consistency supports clean application without dripping or material waste in vertical or horizontal installations.
Its low odor formula makes it suitable for enclosed or sensitive environments, including USDA inspected facilities.
Versatile Applications
ULTRABOND® HS-1CC supports a wide range of construction and infrastructure applications. Its ability to perform in vertical or horizontal applications makes it a flexible solution for:
Commercial building construction
Infrastructure and transportation projects
Structural anchoring systems
Industrial and heavy duty installations
The epoxy works with Pro Anchor Design Software, so engineers and contractors can design and verify anchors with confidence.
